Why go on a Balkan Peace Adventure?
To Grow as Leaders
Balkan Peace Adventures help grow leaders who lead with conviction and compassion. The trip's experiences and training will help to shape their lives for years to come.
Balkan Peace Adventures can be a transformative global life experience; one that can change the trajectory of a young person's life and reshape the life-goals for an adult.
To Help Others
Balkan Peace Adventures give people opportunities to help the beautiful children of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These children are smart and kind, but live in a country still struggling with the aftermath of the ethnic cleansing that happened in the war.
To Change the World
Experiencing new cultures changes people.
Making friends across cultural and ethnic lines changes lives.
People with transformative global life experiences change the world!
Changing the life of a child changes the world. This is especially true for children in countries, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, that are still struggling to recover from the devastating effects of war and its painful aftermath.
